I have been an explorer of human potential through dedicated studies and embodiment practices for over 20 years. Through such practices I have sought to regain an intimate connection with being human through profound experiential work with physical movement. I hold a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) and I am a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner (GCFP). I am also a California Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) and a Nationally Certified (NCTMB) bodyworker. 

I grew up among the indigenous peoples of the Andes and the Amazon in Ecuador. I was particularly drawn to their shamanic healing traditions. Inspired by my mother, who healed herself from chronic illness with indigenous embodiment practices and herbal remedies, I ventured to understand the essence of non-dualistic practices developed by these local indigenous healers. While majoring in Anthropology in college I became an apprentice of Shuar shamans, who live in the Amazon jungle of southeastern Ecuador and northeastern Peru. I also apprenticed with Quechua (Inka) healers in the Andean highlands. I later moved to California where I encountered and immersed myself in Carlos Castaneda's Tensegrity®, and Moshe Feldenkrais's revolutionary discoveries expressed through the Feldenkrais Method®. Like them, I dream of a world in which awareness of the vast yet unrealized human potential is uncovered and expressed through physical movement.

Further professional training includes Osteopathic methods Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation at the Upledger and Barral Institutes; as well as my Yoga teacher training with Saul David Raye; and my recent Acupuncture clinic internship at the UCLA Ashe Health Center and at Emperor's College Community Clinic.

Today, through hands-on work and movement re-education, I bring to my work a commitment to help you improve your physical and mental wellness in a pleasant and effortless way. You will rediscover the joy and comfort of a balanced body-mind, and your innate ability to direct your own healing and achieve your full potential. I strongly believe in the importance of experiential movement to all aspects of life, and ultimately that greater awareness can lead to a deeper experience of health and humanity.
